Woke up this morning later than normal and with a cloudy head. We were planning the Louvre 2 in Lens today, but instead we spent the day resting. It was the right choice. Reading and laundry happened. And I went on a short excursion to procure food and to get a nice bottle of wine for our friends in Paris. We'll see them on Friday! I did snap some photos when I was out and about and also popped into a church for a little look see. Later we ate a French dinner with a baguette and brie, yogurt, and a strawberry tart. Pretty tasty and perfect accompaniment to our evening of movies. First up was the always excellent (and my favorite) Room with a View. Then Howard's End capped off the evening. I haven't seen that one in many years and I forgot how awful the ending is. No 20 year old (30?) spoilers here though. Lens tomorrow! Mini Louvre waits.
