California prep day and going off grid
No fun vacation stories today. Alex left on a 2:30 flight back to Minneapolis and is home safe and sound. He’ll be working the next couple of weeks and then going to see Radiohead in Chicago early next month. George and I ran errands for the next leg of our trip. We’re heading out to California tomorrow with my brother Mark, his three girls and my mom. We packed an RV, procured provisions, gassed up cars and laundered clothes. Oh, and I also picked up Aris, Taylor and Rowan from a Girl Scout swimming event. It rained most of the day in ABQ, which as you might assume, is rare. We all enjoyed the break from the heat and sun. George and I watched a documentary on Hamilton and now we are off to bed, ready for a very early start tomorrow. We’ll be somewhere in California by this time tomorrow, likely without any service, so adios until we are connected to the world again!
